Three Days to Go

Friday, October 21, 2011 I had merely three days left until I was no longer a civilian, but on the long road to become a United States Marine. My mom came to Greenville to visit for the weekend. I was saying goodbye to friends and even had a small party. My life was about to change.

One year later, here I stand. A United States Marine three days away from completing my first year in the Corps. Rah! God had been gracious to me. God has seen me through so much. The thick and the thin, the good and the bad, the easy and the hard. The Lord is faithful and His promises, His being, His Word is forever. I thank God each day for the man He has made me and for the blessings I have been given.

Today I thank God and today I still pray. I pray for continued guidance and strength. I pray for ministry opportunities. I pray for friends. One in particular; Andrew Smith. He is going into Rifle Week at Parris Island right now so if you could lift him up in prayer with me, that would mean a lot to him and me. Prayer goes a long way. Thank you for you prayer warriors out there. You are appreciated.
